Sony Unveils New Walkman Phones

Sony has unveiled 3 new phones in a new range of Walkman phones - W902, W595 and W302. Packed with Walkman features, these phones promise to deliver a great musical experience.

The W902 Walkman facilitates music control through its music navigation keys, allowing you to skip forward or back, play and pause with a single push of a button. It also comes with music features that allow you to boost the base, tweak the treble and choose the music type with the equalizers. Features, the company claims, that have been designed to give you a perfectly clear audio experience.


The W902 has the same superior sound quality as the newly launched W980 Walkman, which was rated "best audio experience" in a trial conducted in Germany by TESTfactory.

You can also experience crystal clear video on the bright, clear, scratch-resistant 2.2" QVGA display, and record moments using the 5 megapixel camera and the powerful photo flash.

The W595 Walkman has a cool stereo Share jack, which allows two people to listen to the same music using an additional headset. TrackID allows you to buy songs and create play lists using SensMe and Shake control lets you change the tune or raise the volume with a flick of your wrist. Games too revolve around the music theme, with Guitar Rock Tour in 3D being one of them.

The W302 Walkman has a stereo portable handsfree and a bundled 512 MB memory card that can store up to 479 songs.

While the handsfree is plugged in, the phone also allows you to tune into the FM radio. The W302 also features TrackID music recognition so that when you hear a song you can discover the title, artist and album.

The built-in 2 megapixel camera gives the chance to capture moments around you and attach them to messages or post them on the W302 blog site using the picture blogging function.
